In 1994 Andreas and Detlef met and realized that they both had a great passion for music. At that time Andreas was already a musician, but in the field of techno, trance and electro pop. Encouraged by the new possibilities of music production, Detlef (until then a pure music consumer with a focus on rock, prog rock and classical EM), worked his way into the material. A few years passed. In January 2003 the time had come: Detlef and Andreas produced their first track "Monolith" together for a sampler. The name "Wellenfeld" was born. "Monolith" becomes a huge success for WELLENFELD. Due to the good and friendly cooperation and also spurred on by the success of their first track, their first album "Cosmic Waves" was produced at the beginning of 2004. First live performances followed. Wellenfeld quickly developed its very own sound, which has continued to this day and 12 albums. At the beginning of 2022 Detlef's and Andreas' common musical path ended. Wellenfeld continues to exist. Andreas is responsible for the output since then. |
